Ayesha Kanga

An award-winning and multi-award winning author, Shahid Ali Dadda, who has authored numerous award-winning books such as The Last Person (2018, Winner of the Irish Book of the Year Award), The Damned (2017), The Temptations of Sri Mallika (2016, Winner of the Irish Book of the Year Award), Murder on the Orient Express (2015, Winner of the International Thriller of the Year Award).

Shahid is also a noted photographer, painter and has been quoted, spoken and interviewed in leading international and national press interviews. He writes books, short stories and poetry.

As a living and working professional, he works for several other projects including the award-winning USUIG Awards Showcase Show in conjunction with the Irish Book Awards and an online programme of many events with the United Nations through the UN Women. For several years as a reporter, he has attended numerous panel discussions convened by the USUIG International Foundation (USUIGI) to discuss the non-governmental, corporate and political business of UN and human rights.

His work has been exhibited at various occasions in major cultural centres, universities, libraries, hospitals, churches, synagogues, multi-faith groups, multi-discipline, theatre groups, multi-sensory groups, national exhibitions such as the 2018 US UIG Awards Showcase Show and Exhibitions for the USA, the United Kingdom and other international organisations within and outside the United Nations and in select U.S. and Canadian government offices. In 2017, Shahid's short story, “A Special Opps” (short story not originally published as a novel but used as the first one of the short story series) was published in the book The Damned (2017). The Damned were a group of short stories by Shahid which were highly acclaimed by the U.S. media, award winning literary magazines and national and international readers. The Damned won the 2017 Irish Book of the Year.

Shahid teaches at a leading university in Europe and Asia as well as a college of natural health.

In addition, Shahid is a photographer and has contributed to numerous exhibitions and publications worldwide.
