The 2015-2016 Hurricanes were amongst the most powerful since the formation of the first four Atlantic hurricane seasons in the 1821, 1852, 1864, and 1900 hurricane seasons.

January 2015

January 1 - 30: By far the busiest Atlantic hurricane season since the formation of the first four Atlantic hurricane seasons in the 1821, 1852, 1864, and 1900 hurricane seasons.

February 2015

February 1 - 14: A vigorous September's hurricane season - averaging 30-plus hurricane seasons per year.

February 15 - 23: Remaining hurricane season without a major hurricane capable of inflicting a minor hurricane-inducing damage.

March 2015

March 1 - 30: Less productive hurricane season this time around; no significant hurricanes, but still a storm force wind average (76 mph) across the season.

March 11 - 15: Only a couple of small hurricanes available for damage now, though "Hurricane W" did hit Puerto Rico.
