The next step of the chain is to get the chain behind the vehicle. This can take place at the shop or on site. This will have to be accomplished properly and requires the chain support to be of good quality to ensure its durability.

Once the chain support is finished and approved, it will be picked up from the driveway, wheeled across the parking area or into the works area, and hooked up to the ATV. The chain support is then attached to the engine. When parked off site, a chain support or van lift must be utilized. The chains are secured to the engine with the rear wheel axle, and the chain supporting van lift must be secured to the engine with the engine-specs.

A Vee-Off Chain is not required to be utilized with the ATV, and in fact could not be used with the motorcycle. The ATV requires a Vee-Off Chain support and a Chain-Support Van Lift.

The ATV is manufactured by an appropriate manufacturer or model. For example, there is a vehicle of Chevrolet Vega with a Vee-Off Chain support designed to work with the General Honda ATV. The dealer will carefully match the motor in the vehicle with the correct motor model used in the chain in the ATV to ensure the chain fit properly both in the ATV and the vehicle.

If the motor has changed there will be an appropriate component and component box on the ATV that will allow for the new motor and motor spindle to be used.

If two ATVs are available from a single manufacturer they will require the same types of parts boxes to house the spindles. If one vehicle is not available and if a different model is found a General Honda ATV is not compatible with one type of motor or another.
