Synopsis By Owen Gleiberman. With a massive Hollywood star-studded event on the horizon, two former interns of Fox News look for an escape.

Owen Gleiberman is an optimistic cynic. If it doesn't make the tabloids, at least he hopes it'll promote his beloved film "X-MEN: First Class." Gleiberman makes no promises. He will leave the project, and he does so with a sense of resignation.

And along with this resignation comes a sense of doubt. There are too many things going the wrong way for him.
Directorial work done.
And the studio.

Owen is sure he understands how films get made. The way it is now. He's lived his entire life in a dream world, a science-fiction future. He has devoted his career to understanding how the industry works.

On a beautiful holiday weekend in Georgia, in a villa surrounded by the finest in art and natural surroundings, Owen's ideas start bubbling to his face.

The idea of a feature film and the big prize has landed them an award. If they win it, Owen would be allowed a luxurious retirement. An old-school dream.

Owen's son, Abuelo. The title's the perfect noun.
And Abuelo's job.
And even as Owen begins to study the form, they're in motion, shooting the feature.

It starts slow. The interiors. There's one scene in which Abuelo chats with the Fox News foreign correspondent Lisa Marie ungar, in what's supposed to be the studio newsroom. And, just like that, they have to shoot a scene.

They stay up late. They pray. "O god, let this movie not happen."

The editor comes in to correct things.
