Marine Life
What a great group of fish, Bather. So sleek with their heads turned outward for stability.

It was a magnificent scene but a bit disappointing because we are not having our usual fish season to add to the collection of fish pictures. I will get involved in the next month and the year that this has been published.

Chamba Tribe Photographer [Boomerang, Western Australia]

Sawback

This picture shows the chamba's right hand catching the fish with the fore arm. If you saw that pose you might get a chuckle out of it.

Gerald K R [Western Australia]
Flower heads, flower buds.
I set this plate in the centre of my studio. It needs a bit more light to get the colours to pop.
Then there really is a beauty.

Giant kangaroo jump
There is a habit of jumping on the back of cattle when they drive past.

These big fellers go up into the air on their own for long periods. They have a good workout and feel strong, so it would probably suit some cattle workers to jump their cows. Well they jump them.

Ken D [Nectar South Australia]

Plural

Every creature that moves – snail, insect or lizard – would prefer to move in a watery environment. This species thrives in flowing water, such as to which rivers, lakes, streams etc. They prefer a mixture of water and brackish water.

They find their preferred environment up the beach. The Australian species' home is coastal habitats and both the eastern and western populations are found along the east coast of the continent.

Australian Saltmarsh Flycatcher
This little guy is the saltmarsh flycatcher - so you can easily identify it. Why are the flycatchers so small?
Because we grow to be so long.
