Tori Amos Hershey Pa

I'm an advocate of the need to help animal advocates access information. From using the internet in my efforts, and also many other websites, to more open comment policies. This is my personal blog on animal welfare issues. I have a personal website where I talk more specifically about vegan issues (can you tell I'm an animal rights activist).

This is just the latest news that people have discovered about my photo story website, KalyenLlamas.com. I don't actually know how much longer this will exist or what sort of things will be occurring in the site at this point.

I've had a number of positive reactions to my news to that website, and to the change to how the site will be managed. (I won't say much more on the matter than that.)

A long night at Target Store

The end of my workday marked the beginning of a very long night for me. The night before I went to Target, I was giving my dog, Tori Amos, a haircut and trimming her coat, and I got a phone call. This was at 8 p.m. and Tori was sound asleep in her bed as she always did, and when she was not dog walking, and staying in her crate at home, which she would almost always do after eating dinner. The phone call, and the text that she would be getting soon, I knew, was from the Kennel Club for their statement on Spayed Kittens. She should get her procedure done as soon as possible. Over the next few hours I checked on Tori after a nap, and I stayed within close proximity as I tried to think in what a day like this really could turn into.

I remembered my own situation. My husband was at work, and I was at home alone with Tori. She had spayed her kitten that she got on Saturday, and Tori had her kitten back that I got, 6 months later, the weekend before I got this phone call. I had to let her cat out, and there was a new kitten that needed to go to his owner. The photo I had taken on Friday showed Tori with the new kitten, because I remember that as the perfect way to get to that kitten.

That was okay. And it was very late, so I checked on this kitten that I had.
